Customizing markets
You can customize each market to control the customer experience for specific regions. Customizations override your store's defaults for settings such as pricing, currency, theme content, domains, and tax display. You can add and remove customizations from the Markets page in your Shopify admin.
Understanding how customizations work
Each market inherits your store's default settings until you add a customization. You can customize individual aspects of a market, and if you remove a customization, then the market reverts to its inherited value.
Configuring products and pricing
You can control which products are available and how they're priced in each market by using catalogs. To display prices in a customer's local currency, add a currency customization with automatic or manual exchange rates.
Customizing your storefront
You can adapt your online store theme to display different content, promotions, or layouts for specific markets. Domain and language customizations control the URL structure and language that customers experience.
Managing taxes, duties, and business entities
You can configure how duties and taxes are displayed and collected for each market, including tax-inclusive pricing and duty collection at checkout. If your business operates through multiple legal entities, then you can assign business entities to specific markets.
