Importing products and managing your product catalog in the Faire sales channel

You can import your products from Shopify to Faire and manage your product catalog in the Faire sales channel. Your imported products are automatically linked to Faire. Linked products allow you to sync orders and inventory between Shopify and Faire.

You can also preview your products on Shopify and Faire.

Import Shopify products to Faire

You can import and publish your Shopify products to Faire. You can choose specific products that you want to import. When you import products, you need to specify your product pricing strategy and configure how to price your products in Faire. After you import your Shopify products, they're automatically linked to Faire.

To import products from Shopify to Faire, your products need to have the following information:

• product title
• product description
• at least one product image
• product price

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. In the Product publishing status section, click Review and import.

5. Select the products that you want to import to Faire, and then click Next.

6. Review and confirm your product details:

   1. Confirm your products pricing strategy in Shopify:
      1. In the Shopify Pricing line, click Edit.
      2. Select how you price your products in Shopify, and then click Save.
   2. Confirm how to calculate your wholesale or retail product price:
      1. In the Wholesale price or Retail price line, click Edit.
      2. Adjust the calculation equation, and then click Save.
   3. Confirm whether you sell your products in cases:
      1. In the Sell in Cases line, click Edit.
      2. If you sell products in cases, then select Yes, and then enter the number of products in a case.
      3. Click Save.

7. Click Publish products.

Linking and unlinking products

You can link products from Faire to Shopify. Linked products are automatically synced for your orders and inventory between Shopify and Faire. After you import your Shopify products to Faire, they're automatically linked to Faire.

If you unlink a product, then you deactivate the sync for a product between Shopify and Faire.

Link your Shopify products to Faire

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. Click Products.

5. Go to the Not linked tab, and then click Link product next to the Faire product that you want to link to Shopify.

6. Select a Shopify product that you want to link your Faire product to, and then click Link.

7. Click Save.

Unlink your Shopify products from Faire

To stop syncing your Shopify products with Faire, you can unlink the products.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. Click Products.

5. In the Linked tab, select the products that you want to unlink from Shopify, and then click Unlink.

6. Click Save.

Preview your products on Shopify and Faire

You can preview how your linked products are displayed in Faire and your Shopify admin.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. Click Products.

5. To preview your product on Faire, in the Faire product column, click the eye icon.

6. To preview your product on Shopify, in the Shopify product column, click the eye icon.

You can also click View products on Faire to view all your products on Faire.
