By following these guidelines, merchants are more likely to install and keep using your app. The Shopify Apps Team also picks the best apps to be featured to our merchants, so by following these guidelines carefully, your app could potentially be featured on the Shopify App Store.
This document is to encourage the following best practices. When choosing apps to feature on the Shopify App Store, the Apps QA Team will check for these features before choosing an app for promotion.

Include a clear billing structure with different plans. Installation
Include an auto sign up feature in your app. This means that when a merchant installs your app, their info is fetched through the Shop API and an account is automatically created for them. Use the API to auto-fill merchant information during signup.
