Android Buy SDK

The Mobile Buy SDK makes it easy to create custom storefronts in your mobile app, where users can buy products using Android Pay or their credit card. The SDK connects to the Shopify platform using GraphQL, and supports a wide range of native storefront experiences.

Prerequisites

Before you can use the Android Buy SDK, you'll need:

If you want to offer Android Pay, then you'll also need to generate a public key.

Generate a public key for Android Pay

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.

  2. Click Manage private apps.

  3. Click the name of your app.

  4. In the Storefront API section, click Configure Mobile Buy SDK settings (optional).

  5. In the Mobile Buy SDK (Android) section, click Enable.

You can set up Android App Links to integrate your app with Android web browsers. When an Android user taps a link to your website, they'll be redirected to your app if they have it installed.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.

  2. Click Manage private apps.

  3. Click the name of your app.

  4. In the Storefront API section, click Configure Mobile Buy SDK settings (optional).

  5. In the Mobile Buy SDK (Android) section, enter your Application ID and your SHA-256 certificate fingerprints.
