Uninstall an app
You can uninstall an app from your store from the Apps and sales channels page in your Shopify admin.
Some apps modify the theme of your online store. You need to confirm whether the app requires additional uninstall steps before you remove the app from your store. If the app that you want to remove requires additional uninstallation steps, then you can contact the app developers by going to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Get support in your Shopify admin.
Steps:
Uninstall an app that has inventory stored at an app location
To uninstall a fulfillment app that has inventory stored at an app location, you need to transfer your inventory to another location or delete inventory. You can't delete inventory for committed inventory.
If you choose to transfer your inventory to a new location, then you can't exceed the maximum number of locations available on your Shopify subscription plan.
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
- Next to the app that you want to uninstall, click …, and then click Uninstall.
- Transfer or delete your inventory:
- To delete your inventory, select Delete inventory. This option is available only for uncommitted inventory.
- To transfer your inventory to an existing location, select Transfer inventory to an existing location, and then select an existing location.
- To transfer your inventory to a new location, select Transfer inventory to a new location. If you exceed the maximum number of locations, then you can't transfer inventory to a new location.
- Optional: From the Reason for uninstalling (optional) drop-down menu, select a reason for uninstalling the app.
- Click Uninstall.

- From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
