Checkout, orders, and draft orders in B2B
You can customize your B2B checkout to offer different payment methods, payment terms, shipping methods, and checkout methods to your customers:
- Offer various payment methods at checkout, such as Shopify Payments, third-party payment providers, and manual payment methods. If you want to offer different payment methods to your B2B and D2C customers, then you can use the Payment Customization Function, or apps such as Checkout Blocks to contextualize your payment methods.
- If you use Shopify Payments, then customers can securely save their credit card information to a company location as a vaulted credit card. After saving, you or your customers can use a vaulted credit card to make future charges without entering the card information again.
- Provide your customers with more payment flexibility using specific payment terms and deposits. Deposits and payment terms can be set up on company locations or on draft orders.
- Control the checkout method by creating and managing B2B orders as draft orders and allow shipping addresses to be editable at checkout. You can use draft orders to create orders on behalf of customers, review orders that customers submit, and send invoices.
These options can be used in addition to checkout customization features, such as the checkout and accounts editor and eligible apps that are available to stores on the Shopify Plus plan.
