Automating B2B workflows in your Shopify admin
You can automate manual tasks using Shopify Flow to reduce the amount of time you and your team spend on tasks.
With Shopify Flow you can do the following:
- Use pre-built templates to quickly implement common automations in your store.
- Create your own custom workflow to support your own business processes.
To use Shopify Flow, you must install the free Shopify Flow app. After you install the app, you can access the app from your Shopify admin.

Workflow templates can help you get started with Shopify Flow. You can customize pre-built workflow templates after you install them.

| Get notified and set up companies created by company account requests | If you have set up a company account request form, then you can automatically send an email to one or more members of your team whenever a new B2B customer submits the form. |
| Tag B2B orders | You can automatically tag all orders placed on behalf of a company or company location with your choice of tags. |
| Send internal email when a B2B order is placed | You can automatically notify one or more members of your team whenever a B2B order is placed. To notify sales staff of orders for the specific company locations they’re assigned to, you must create a unique flow for each member of your sales staff with their assigned company locations. |
| Send B2B order invoice to multiple email addresses | You can automatically send order invoices to multiple email addresses. When customers place orders at checkout, invoices only go to the purchaser's email by default. This template lets you send invoices to more email addresses. |
| Send B2B access email to approved customer | You can automatically send a B2B access email to invite customers to login and start placing orders as soon as the contact has been assigned a permission level. |
| Allow ordering for companies created by company account requests | If you have set up a company account request form you can automatically approve all new customers to login and start placing orders as soon as they submit the form. |
