Finding a Shopify Expert

You can find and hire Shopify Experts from within your Shopify admin by submitting a job request that describes the work that you need. After you submit a request, it is reviewed by available Experts. If an Expert is interested in your request, then they can contact you to learn more about your project.

To submit a job request:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click your account menu, and then click Hire a Shopify Expert:

  2. Click to expand the category that matches the type of work that you need, and then select a goal:

  3. Enter details for the job that you are requesting, and then click Next. The details that you need to enter for your job request are different depending on the goal you select for your store.

  4. Enter details about your business, and then click Next.

  5. Enter details about your customers, and then click Next.

  6. Enter details about your project's schedule and budget, and then click Next.

  7. Confirm the details of your job request, and then click Send request.

When you submit a job request, you are not committing to hire a Shopify Expert. This step only submits a description of your project to available Experts, who then review your request.

If an Expert decides to work with you, then they contact you with more information about their fees and how to start the process. Any messages from experts are emailed to you, and are also visible on the Hire a Shopify Expert page. See Communicating with Experts for more information.

If you hire the Expert, then you can transfer payment for the work from your Shopify admin.
