Paying Shopify Experts

After you've hired a Shopify Expert, they can send you invoices for the work to be done or the work that they've completed. You can pay these invoices directly through your Shopify admin.

There isn't a fixed cost for hiring a Shopify Expert. The cost depends on your project, and it's determined by the Expert based on the amount of work that needs to be done.

An invoice from an Expert looks like this:

Invoices for work from Experts appear separately on the Billing page in your Shopify admin. They are not included in your store's billing thresholds. If you have any questions about the items that are included in an invoice that you've received from a Shopify Expert, then contact the Expert directly to learn more.

I have received an invoice that is too large for my credit card. What should I do?

Shopify currently supports only credit cards as the method of payment. You should refuse the invoice and let the Expert know that the payment was too large for your credit card. To continue working on the project, the Expert can send multiple invoices in smaller amounts that match different pieces of work.
