Change your primary domain
Your primary domain is the domain name that's displayed in the address bar for your online store. By default, your primary domain uses the format your-store-name.myshopify.com
when you sign up for Shopify. If you want to change the domain that customers use to visit your store, you can add a custom domain, and then set your custom domain as the primary domain.
The target, your online store, can only have one primary domain. When you change your primary domain, other domains that you have, such as a subdomain or the default your-store-name.myshopify.com
redirect to the new primary domain. In this case, if your customer enters any other domain name that you have listed on the Domains page, then they're automatically redirected to the URL that is your primary domain.
