If you no longer want a custom domain associated with your Shopify store, then you can do one of the following:
- If you have a third-party domain, then you can remove your domain from your Shopify admin.
- If you have a Shopify-managed domain and you want to use it on another website, then you can transfer your domain to another Shopify store or to another domain provider.
- If you have a Shopify-managed domain and you want to cancel it completely, then you can disable automatic renewal so that it expires at the end of the registration period.
Your .myshopify.com
URL can't be removed or changed, because you use your .myshopify.com
URL to log into your store and identify your account when you contact Shopify Support. If you want to change the domain that customers use to visit your store, then you can add a custom domain and set it as your primary domain.
