Removing subdomains

When you remove a subdomain from your store, it might impact how your store is set up or how your customers find your store. You can't remove a subdomain that's your primary domain.

Before you remove the subdomain, verify that it isn't being used in your store to find certain pages, and that it's not the primary domain.

Steps:

Desktop

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.

2. Click the subdomain that you want remove.

3. Click Delete subdomain.

4. In the dialog, click Remove to confirm.

iPhone

1. From the Shopify app, tap the … button.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Domains.
4. Tap the subdomain that you want remove.
5. Tap Delete subdomain.
6. Tap Save to confirm that you want to delete the subdomain.

Android

1. From the Shopify app, tap the ☰ button.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Domains.
4. Tap the subdomain that you want remove.
5. Tap Delete subdomain.
6. Tap ✓ to confirm that you want to delete the subdomain.
