Managing AliExpress orders

You can use your AliExpress buyer's account to see more details about your paid orders that contain AliExpress products, raise disputes with AliExpress vendors, and cancel AliExpress orders.

View additional details about an AliExpress order

Steps:

  1. In your AliExpress buyer's account, click My Orders.
  2. Click View Detail beside the order that you want to see additional details about:
    Highlighted

Cancel an AliExpress order

Steps:

  1. In your AliExpress buyer's account, click My Orders.
  2. Click Cancel Order beside the order that you want to cancel:
    Highlighted
  3. In the dialog box, confirm the cancellation request.

The vendor reviews the cancellation request and agrees to the request, rejects the request, or asks you for further details before making a decision. If an agreement is reached and the order is canceled, then the transaction is canceled and the supplier won't ship the order.

Raise a dispute

You can raise a dispute about an AliExpress order if the product didn't arrive as described, if there are issues with the billing, or if there are other problems with the order. To raise a dispute, follow the directions in AliExpress's buyer center.

Process returns for AliExpress orders

Most AliExpress suppliers do not accept returns, so you need to check your supplier's policies before offering returns to your customers. Instead, AliExpress offers refunds through buyer protection. For more details, visit their buyer protection page.

If your supplier doesn't accept returns but you want to offer returns to your customers, then you can accept returns at your own location instead of your supplier's.

Recommendations for managing returns and refunds

  • Accept returns in certain circumstances - Although AliExpress vendors generally do not accept returns, you can still accept returns to your home or office. If your customer wants to return an item that is in good quality, then you can accept the return and then reship the item to a future customer.
  • Create a refund and return policy - Having a clear refund and return policy on your website can make it easier to handle customer refunds and returns. To create a refund and return policy, follow the steps to Add or generate store policies and adjust the wording of any policies you create to match the policies of your AliExpress vendor(s).
  • Use the dispute management system - To learn how to contact your AliExpress vendor for any issues with an order, see Raise a dispute.
