Overview of your financial information

The Finance overview page provides a breakdown of your store's financial activity. From the Finance overview page, you can view recent transactions, account balances, and financial products that are available to you. You can view financial statements for your Shopify Balance and Shopify Credit accounts, and action the movement of funds directly from your Finance overview page.

Recent Transactions

In the Recent transactions card, you can view any transactions made using your Shopify finance products. Your transactions are displayed under the following headings:

  • Date: The date the transaction was performed.
  • Description: A short description of the transaction.
  • Account: Which of your accounts the transaction debited or credited.
  • Amount: The amount debited or credited to the related account.

This section provides a quick overview of the most recent transactions across your accounts such as payouts, card purchases, and repayments for Shopify Finance products. You can click an individual transaction line to view details about the specific transaction.

Accounts

The Accounts card provides a quick overview of your available Shopify finance products:

  • Receivables: Your payouts that you have accumulated, but has not been paid out to your bank account yet. Clicking this option will bring you to your payouts page.
  • Main: The amount of cash available inclusive of any holds in your Shopify Balance account. You will automatically have a Main account created, but you can have up to 6 balance accounts which you can assign custom titles to, such as sales tax.
  • Credit: The amount reflects your current balance for your Credit account. Clicking this option will bring you to your Credit page.
  • Capital: The amount reflects your outstanding balance for Capital account. Clicking this option will bring you to your Capital page.

You can click an account to view more detailed information on the total displayed.

Product offers

The Accounts card also displays any available Shopify finance products offers. By clicking the Capital option, you can check if you have any Capital financing offers available, check if you are eligible for Shopify Credit, or check if you are eligible for Shopify Balance.

Taxes

You can click the Taxes card to go to your Taxes and duties settings and start collecting sales tax. After you've started collecting taxes, the number of regions you're collecting in are displayed on the Finance overview page.

Bill pay

In the Bill Pay card, you can install Bill Pay for your Shopify account or, if you already have it set up, click the Pay a Bill button to be brought to the Bill Pay app.
