Order types excluded from Shop Promise

Some order types aren't supported and are automatically excluded from Shop Promise. Other order types have additional requirements to be eligible for Shop Promise. Refer to the following list of order types to learn more.

Orders originating to or from outside the United States

Orders originating from or sent to countries or regions outside the United States aren't eligible for Shop Promise and are automatically excluded.

Untracked or zero inventory

Products with the Track quantity setting unchecked or those with have zero available inventory aren't eligible for Shop Promise and are automatically excluded.

Try before you buy

Try before you buy orders are eligible for Shop Promise only if the can be fulfilled immediately. For a product to be immediately fulfillable, the following must be true:

Pre-orders

Pre-orders aren't eligible for Shop Promise and are automatically excluded.

Subscriptions

Only the first order in a subscription is eligible for Shop Promise. Subsequent orders for that subscription aren't eligible for Shop Promise and are automatically excluded.

Digital products

Digital products and services aren't eligible for Shop Promise. If your store offers digital products or services, then you need to remove shipping for those products.

Third-party fulfillment locations

Third-party fulfillment locations, such as those offered by Shopify Collective or Fulfillment Network, aren't eligible for Shop Promise and are automatically excluded.

Fulfillment locations without shipping

Fulfillment locations that don't offer shipping, such as those that exclusively offer local delivery or in-store pickup, aren't eligible for Shop Promise and are automatically excluded.

Bundles

Orders created with the Shopify Bundles app are eligible for Shop Promise. However, orders created with third-party bundles apps aren't supported and are automatically excluded.
