Monitoring transfers, orders, and inventory in the Fulfillment Network app

After you start using the Fulfillment Network app, you can monitor your transfers, orders, and inventory levels on the Fulfillment Network page.

Fulfillment Network notifications

If there are notifications for the Fulfillment Network app, then they're displayed at the top of the Fulfillment Network page in your Shopify admin. Refer to the following table for more information on notifications that you might receive:

NotificationDescription
Orders on holdThis notification displays when you have orders that are on hold. Clicking this notification opens the Orders page with the following filters applied:
  • Locationis the name of your 3PL.
  • Fulfillment status is On hold.
Transfers in progressThis notification displays when you send inventory to your 3PL. Clicking this notification opens the inbound inventory page with your 3PL.

Fulfillment Network performance

After you start completing orders using the Fulfillment Network app, information on your orders is available on cards on the Fulfillment Network page in your Shopify admin. This information is displayed for only one 3PL at a time. If you use more than one 3PL, then you can click the 3PL's name to select a different service from a drop-down menu.

You can set a timespan to display information on your fulfillments with your 3PL for, as well as set a range of time to compare the results to. On any card, you can click the View report icon to access the relevant report in your store's Reports page. Refer to the following table for more information on the cards displayed on the Fulfillment Network page:

Orders fulfilledIndicates the total amount of orders that were fulfilled by your 3PL.
Order to delivery timeIndicates the elapsed time between when orders were placed and when the orders were delivered. This includes any set fulfillment delays that you might have.
Fulfillment timeIndicates the elapsed time between when orders were placed and when the orders were fulfilled. This includes any set fulfillment delays that you might have.
In transit timeIndicates the amount of time that orders took to be delivered.
