Bixolon label printer

If you're based in the United Kingdom or Ireland, then you can use the Bixolon label printer to print shipping labels. The printer connects to your computer by USB and doesn't require toner or ink to print. You can use the Zebra barcode labels to print shipping labels with the Bixolon label printer.

Set up your Bixolon label printer

You can set up your Bixolon label printer. To learn more about installing and setting up your Bixolon label printer, refer to the quick start guide.

If you change your label type or size, then you will need to repeat this step.

Steps:

1. If the printer switch is set to On, then turn it off by pressing the switch located on the back of the printer.
2. Connect the power cable to your Bixolon label printer.
3. Connect the other end of the power cable to your power adapter, and connect the adapter to a power outlet.
4. Connect the USB cable to your printer, and the other end to your computer.
5. Insert the labels into the printer with the label side facing up.
6. Adjust the tabs so that they hold the labels in place.
7. Turn the power switch to On.
8. Press and hold the purple button at the top of the label printer until you hear a beep, then let go. Your printer automatically detects the label type and size.

Install the Bixolon driver

You need to install the Bixolon label printer drivers to your computer.

Steps:

Mac OS X

1. Visit Bixolon's website to download the correct driver for your computer.
2. Find and open the installation package on your computer.
3. In the dialog, double-click the .pkg file.
4. Follow the instructions in the installer.

Windows

1. Visit Bixolon's website to download the correct driver for your computer.

3. Follow the instructions in the installer.
