Basic plan
The Basic plan offers all the tools you need to run your business. If your store is on the Basic plan or higher, then you can create and customize an online store to showcase your products. You can manage all your products, orders, and customer information from your Shopify admin.
Available features on the Basic plan
In addition to the features available on all plans, except for staffing your Shopify store, the Basic Shopify plan offers the following features:

| Blog | Your online store comes with a built-in blogging engine, which you can use to publish articles, update your customers about events and promotions, and get comments and feedback from your customers. |
| SSL certificates | An SSL certificate is a security protocol that creates a safe connection between a server and a browser to keep your and your customers’ information secure. With Shopify, you can activate SSL certificates to encrypt your online store's content and publish it securely using 'HTTPS' instead of 'HTTP'. This displays the SSL padlock icon beside your online store's URL in the address bar. |
| Reports | You can track your business performance using reports. The Basic plan comes with access to all reports, except for creating custom reports. |
| International commerce | The Basic plan supports your international growth with international sales tools, which are cross-border management tools that let you configure specific settings for each international region. |
Unavailable features on the Basic plan
If you're on the Basic Shopify plan, then the staffing your Shopify store and activating third-party carrier-calculated shipping features are unavailable with this plan.
