Setting up your product inventory
Setting up your inventory correctly is essential for managing your products effectively. Store inventory represents the number of each product variant that you have available to sell. You can track and manage your store's inventory levels on the Inventory page of your Shopify admin.
Activating inventory tracking
To activate inventory tracking, you can set up inventory tracking for the first time, or import and export your inventory quantities using a CSV file.
Configuring out-of-stock behavior
To configure inventory behavior for out-of-stock items, you can decide what happens when a product runs out of stock, hide out-of-stock products from your collections, and control whether products are displayed based on location availability. This behavior also depends on how you set up fulfillment for each location.
Managing inventory across locations and warehouses
You can manage inventory for multiple locations and apps, and organize your warehouse with bin locations.
