Getting started with selling on Amazon
If you're new to selling on Amazon, then you might need to set options in your Amazon Seller Central account.
There are three ways to use the Amazon sales channel:
If you are selling a product in a Shopify online store that is identical to one already listed for sale on Amazon, but you are not already selling it on Amazon, then you can create an offer for that product. This is the simplest way to use the Amazon sales channel.
If you want to sell a unique product variant or a brand you own that isn't already listed on Amazon, then you need to create a new listing. When you create a listing in the Amazon sales channel, an offer to sell your product is automatically created.
If you are already listing the same products on both Shopify and Amazon, then you can link Shopify to your existing Amazon listings.
Disconnect the Amazon channel
If you want to disconnect your Amazon Seller account, then you can update your settings in the Amazon sales channel in your Shopify admin.
If you disconnect your Amazon Seller account from your Shopify admin, then your product and order information is no longer synced with your Shopify admin. Your product and order information does not get removed from Amazon. You can resume syncing product and order information by reconnecting your Amazon Seller account to the Amazon sales channel.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, go to Sales channels > Amazon.
In the Amazon sales channel, click Account.
In the Amazon Account section, click Disconnect.
