Adding the Buy Button sales channel

If the Buy Button sales channel doesn't appear in the Sales channels section of your Shopify admin, then you need to add it before you can create a new Buy Button or embedded cart.

Desktop

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Shopify App Store.

3. If applicable, then log in to continue to the Shopify App Store.

4. From the Shopify App Store, search for Buy Button, and then click Buy Button.

5. Click Install.

iPhone

1. From the Shopify app, tap the … button.

2. Tap +, and then tap Sales channels.

3. From the Add sales channel screen, tap Buy Button.

4. Tap Add app.

Android

1. From the Shopify app, tap the ☰ button.

2. Tap +, and then tap Sales channels.

3. From the Add sales channel screen, tap Buy Button.

4. Tap Add app.

After you've added the Buy Button sales channel, you can create a new Buy Button.

Note

You need to use a supported payment gateway to use Buy Button. To see a list of supported payment gateways in your country or region, refer to Payment information by country or region.
