Managing your Faire sales channel preferences

After you set up the Faire sales channel, you can manage your catalog import, product price sync, inventory sync, and order sync settings from the Preferences page. You can also disconnect your Faire account from Shopify.

Manage your catalog import settings

You can update the following catalog import settings:

  • your product pricing strategy in Shopify
  • your wholesale or retail product price calculations
  • your product case settings

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.
  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. Click Preferences.

  5. In the Catalog import section, adjust your catalog import settings.

  6. Click Save.

Manage your product price sync settings

You can turn on or off your product price syncing settings. When you turn on this setting, your product price changes on Shopify are automatically updated on Faire.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.
  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. Click Preferences.

  5. In the Price sync section, click Turn on or Turn off.

  6. Click Save.

Manage your inventory sync settings

You can turn on or off your inventory syncing settings. When you turn on this setting, your inventory changes on Shopify are automatically updated on Faire.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.
  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. Click Preferences.

  5. In the Inventory sync section, click Turn on or Turn off.

  6. Optional: In the Inventory locations section, click Manage locations, and then choose which locations to use for Faire inventory syncing.

  7. Click Save.

Managing your order sync settings

You can choose how you want to sync and display Faire orders details in your Shopify admin. Review the following table to learn more about order sync settings.

CommissionSelect how to display Faire commission in your Shopify orders. You can choose to display the commission in the order notes, as a line item, or not to display the commission at all.

Order tagsChoose which tags to apply to Faire orders in your Shopify admin.
Order nameChoose how to name Faire orders in your Shopify admin.
Deduct inventory for testersSelect whether to deduct inventory in Shopify when your customers order Faire testers.

Disconnect your Shopify account from Faire

If you no longer want to have your Shopify account connected to Faire, then you can disconnect your account.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.
  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. Click Overview.

  5. Click Disconnect.

  6. Click Disconnect.
