Configuring and managing your Faire app settings

After you set up the Faire app, you can configure and manage your syncing and inventory preferences from the Settings page. You can also disconnect your Faire account from Shopify.

Configure your syncing preferences

You can choose how to sync your new Faire products to your Shopify admin. Review the following table to learn more about syncing preferences.

Faire syncing settings
Syncing settingDescription
Automatically create new item listings in ShopifyChoose whether to create a new product listing in your Shopify admin after you make a purchase on Faire. You can select to automatically apply a category to your new product listings.
Automatically link items with matching SKUs in ShopifyChoose whether to link Faire products with identical SKUs to Shopify products.
Automatically publish items in ShopifyChoose whether to automatically publish your new product listings from Faire to your online store.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Faire: Buy Wholesale.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click Settings.

  5. In the Syncing preferences section, click Turn on or Turn off next to the setting that you want to turn on or off.

  6. Click Save.

Configure your inventory preferences

You can choose how to manage your product inventory settings. Review the following table to learn more about inventory preferences.

Faire inventory settings
Inventory settingDescription
Include brand names in item listingsChoose whether to include the brand name in the product listing in Shopify. The brand name is included in the product listing title.
Automatically update inventory countChoose whether to update your product inventory count automatically in your POS after your Faire order is delivered.
Convert retail price to your default POS currencyIf you use a different currency in your POS than in Faire, then you can choose whether to convert your retail price to your default POS currency.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Faire: Buy Wholesale.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click Settings.

  5. In the Inventory preferences section, click Turn on or Turn off next to the setting that you want to turn on or off.

  6. Click Save.

Disconnect your Faire account

If you no longer want to have your Shopify account connected to Faire, then you can disconnect your account.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click Faire: Buy Wholesale.

  3. Click Open app.

  4. Click Settings.

  5. In the Account section, click Disconnect.

  6. Click Disconnect.
