Product categories for Amazon listings
The Shopify Marketplace Connect app automatically suggests product categories when setting up new Amazon product listings, using Shopify's Standard Product Taxonomy. Product taxonomy is a classification and naming structure that you can use to organize your product catalog by adding categories to your products.
A product category is the standard category of a product from Shopify's Standard Product Taxonomy.
Refer to Shopify's Standard Product Taxonomy resource and Category metafields information.
In the Shopify Marketplace Connect app, you can add a product category to your products to make them more discoverable by visitors on Amazon.
