Editing customer notification templates to display Shop Campaigns offers and Shop Cash in the transaction record

As of March 31, 2025, the following notification templates have been updated to display Shop Campaigns offers and Shop Cash in the transaction record of the email that your customers receive:

• Order confirmation
• Order edited
• Order canceled
• Order refund

If you've customized these notification templates prior to March 31, 2025, and you want to display Shop offers and Shop Cash in the transaction records, then you can take either of the following actions for each notification:

• Revert to the default email notification template, which updates your template to the most current template version. Reverting to the default template removes any previous customizations that you've made to a template.
• Follow this guide to manually update each email notification template.

Note

These changes require you to edit the code that's used in Shopify's notification templates. If your templates are highly customized, or you're not comfortable applying the necessary changes, then consider contacting the developer that originally customized your templates.

Before you manually update your email notification templates, consider creating a backup of your current code.
