Shop sign-in features

Shop Pay and Shop sign-in features are offered by Shopify as a direct service to customers to streamline their shopping experience on Shopify stores. After you activate Shop Pay on your online store, Shopify collects associated data directly from Shop account users who choose to use these features. This includes data collected as they browse your storefront after signing-in with Shop, consistent with Shopify's Privacy Policy.

Sign in with Shop on customer accounts is automatically activated on stores that use customer accounts and offer Shop Pay as a payment method. Customers signed in with Shop can check out in one tap with their saved shipping and billing information automatically pre-filled with Shop Pay, and activate syncing features across their Shopify experience. You can also add the following Shop sign-in features to your store to offer your customers a more personalized shopping experience:

Add a Sign in with Shop button to any page on your store to prompt your customers to sign into your storefront using their Shop credentials.
Add a Follow on Shop button to let customers follow your store in the Shop app. Followers receive store updates through push notifications, in-app messages, and feed recommendations.
Lead capture with Shop integrates with your existing lead capture forms to remove the friction of searching, copying, and pasting discount codes for your customer. After Shop customers sign in, their discount code automatically applies at checkout.
