Requirements for using the Shopify Collective sales channel

To use the Shopify Collective sales channel in your Shopify admin, your store must meet the following requirements:

  • Compliance with Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy: Your store needs to comply with Collective's Terms of Service, and Shopify's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Active Shopify plan: Your store must be on an active Starter plan or higher.
  • Store location and store currency:
    • Your business must be based in the United States, and your store currency needs to be USD.
    • Stores based in Canada can use the Shopify Collective sales channel when they've been directly invited by an existing retailer that already uses Shopify Collective, and that's also based in Canada and whose store currency is CAD.
  • Activation of Shopify Payments: Your store must have Shopify Payments activated. Learn more about eligibility for Shopify Payments.
