Syncing your products from Shopify to StockX

After you set up your products for inventory matching with the StockX catalog, you can start listing your products for sale on StockX.

Publish your products on StockX

To publish your products on StockX, you firstly match your inventory to the StockX catalog, and then you list your products with an optional price markup or markdown.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click StockX.

  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. In the Inventory matching section, click Start matching.

  5. Optional: For any products that are listed as only Partially Matched or Unable to Match, click View and then review the StockX Match Failure Reason column. Ensure that you've correctly set up your products for inventory matching.

  6. Optional: To change the default price of your Shopify products by a percentage markup or percentage markdown when they're listed on StockX, in the Ready to list section, use the up or down arrow in the Percentage field to set a value to either increase or decrease the price by.

  7. In the Ready to list section, click Publish listings.

  8. Optional: If any of your products fail to publish, then in the StockX listings section, click View errors, and then review the StockX Listing Failure Reason column.

When your products are displayed on StockX, you can review the product listings and make any necessary individual price adjustments in your StockX account, or on StockX Pro where applicable.

Change the price markup or price markdown for your StockX products

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  2. Click StockX.

  3. Click Open sales channel.

  4. In the Pricing settings section, change the Percentage value.

  5. Click Update pricing.

Fulfilling and shipping your StockX orders

When customers buy your products on StockX, the orders are displayed in the Orders section of your Shopify admin.

You send your inventory directly to StockX for verification, using the shipping labels and documents that are available in your StockX account, or on StockX Pro where applicable. If you try to ship an order using your own label, then StockX cancels the order.

When your item has passed verification and been sent to the customer by StockX, you can manually mark the order as fulfilled in your Shopify admin.
