Shopify Logo Maker

The Shopify Logo Maker is a free tool created by Shopify that lets you create your own logo. Logos are an important part of branding your store. They help build a cohesive experience for your customers.

You don't need graphic design experience to use the Logo Maker. Depending on the visual style of the logo, you have a variety of options to customize in the logo editor:

• Name and slogan
• Font
• Color palette
• Symbol
• Layout

Some options won't be available based on the design of the logo. For example, logos that don't have a symbol included in the design won't have the option to customize the symbol in the logo editor.

After creating your new logo, you can use it in various places, such as your theme, order notifications, and social media posts.

Create a logo

You can access Shopify's Logo Maker in your device's web browser, and the tool requires no additional programs to use.

Note

You can't upload or import your own images, logos, or other assets into the Logo Maker.

Steps:

1. Open the Shopify Logo Maker tool.
2. In the What's your brand name? field, add your business name.
3. Click Start designing.
4. Choose the type of industry that you most associate with your store, and then click Continue.
5. Choose the main visual style that you want for your logo. When you find a style that you prefer, click Edit logo.
6. Use the logo editor to further customize the design of your logo:
   • Use the tabs on the sidebar to edit aspects of your logo, such as the wording, fonts, and colors.
   • Optional: At any time, click Back to results to return to the list of available logo designs.
7. When you're satisfied with the design of your logo, click Finalize.
8. In the dialog, enter your email address, and then click Send logo.

Your logo is sent to your email inbox, where you can download the ZIP file. You can also click Download it right here to download the logo's ZIP file from your browser to your local device. The zipped folder contains PNG files of your logo in multiple formats:

• horizontal (ideal for headers and banners)
• with background
• with a transparent background
• vertical (ideal for mobile and social media "story" formats)
