You can access a set of reports to help you determine how your Discovery surfaces are performing and where to prioritize your customization efforts within the Search & Discovery app.

Search performance
The following reports are accessible from the Search & Discovery app to help you assess your store's search performance. The reports show activity on the search results page of your online store. Customer interaction with a predictive search feature of your store isn't included.
You can try to improve the performance of searches by boosting more relevant products or adding synonyms with the Search & Discovery app.
Report | How to use the report |
---|---|
Click rate | Assess the number of customers that are clicking on search results. |
Purchase rate | Assess the number of customers that are purchasing a product that they've discovered through a search result. |
Top online store searches | Assess which search terms are most used by customers. |
Top online store searches with no results | Assess which searches have no results. |
Top online store searches with no clicks | Assess the search terms with results that have no clicks. |
All of the metrics that are displayed include the last 30 days of data. For other date ranges, you can access the full search performance reports from Analytics > Reports.
Recommendation performance
You can use the reports accessible from the Search & Discovery app to help you assess how product recommendations are performing on your store.
You can try to improve the performance by customizing product recommendations with the Search & Discovery app.
Report | How to use the report |
---|---|
Click rate | Assess the number of customers that are clicking on any product recommendations. |
Purchase rate | Assess the number of customers that purchased a product that they discovered in recommendations. |
Top products with low recommendation click rate | Assess customer engagement with product recommendations on your store's top selling products. |
