Customizations for Supply

Each paid Shopify account receives 60 minutes of free design time from Shopify support. This design time can be used to add specific features to a theme that can help your store make sales.

The following customizations can be made to Supply by Shopify support. Review the description of each supported customization to determine which might help your business.

Include price ranges for products on collection pages

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, products on collection pages display only the lowest price of all of the available variants of the product.

This customization displays the price range of the variants from lowest to highest, showing customers the full price range without leaving the collection page.

This customization works well for stores that have large variations in their product variant prices.

Avoid this customization on stores that have little or no variation in their product variant prices.

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, you can't add an image to the footer in Supply.

This customization adds a field into the theme editor where you can upload an image to display in the footer. Before you contact support, upload the image that you want to add to the Files page.

This customization works well for stores that have a badge that they want to display in the footer.

Adjust the header logo to be inline

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, on smaller screens, the logo in the header displays below the menu and the cart icon.

This customization moves the logo up beside the other header icons, and reduces the logo's size.

This customization should be avoided on stores with a logo that displays better at larger sizes. Stores that have loyalty programs or make extensive use of customer accounts should also avoid this change, because the change removes the customer account link from the header.

Adjust the announcement bar to be full length

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, the announcement bar appears in the top right corner of the header.

This customization increases the announcement bar width so that it stretches across the full width of the page. It also adds settings to change the background and text color of the bar.

This customization works well for stores that want to attract customer attention to important information.

Change to a sticky header

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, the header disappears as a customer scrolls down on a page.

This customization creates a sticky header, which means the header stays at the top of the page as a customer scrolls down. This ensures that the content of the header, such as the search, cart, and main menu, is always accessible no matter where customers are on the page.

This customization works well for stores that need to have the header content visible at all times, or have pages that require a lot of scrolling.

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, all product images display on the product page.

This customization adds an image thumbnail slider that lets users scroll through thumbnails in groups, instead of the page displaying them all at the same time.

This customization works well for stores with a large number of images that have a similar composition.

Avoid this customization on stores that have a small number of product images, or if the variant images show additional product information, such as alternate angles of a product.

Add text and a button to the slideshow images

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, slideshow sections display images only.

This customization adds text and a call-to-action button to the slideshow section, allowing for additional content and links to other pages.

This customization works well for stores that use the slideshow images to direct customers to another part of the site.

Avoid this customization on stores that use the slideshow to show an image that contains content that shouldn't be covered up.
