Blog pages
Blog pages on your online store are the homepage for any blogs that you create in your Shopify admin.
By default, blog pages contain a Blog posts section in the theme editor.

Blog posts section settings
The Blog posts section displays the latest blog posts within a blog. With each blog post, you can display a featured image, the blog post's title, and either the excerpt or the first few words of the blog post. For larger screens, you can display your blog posts in a grid or a collage format.
Review the following settings and descriptions for the Blog posts section on blog pages.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Desktop layout | Displays blog posts in either a grid or a collage on larger screen sizes. Blog posts are stacked on mobile. |
| Show featured image | Displays the blog post's featured image. |
| Featured image height | Choose from Adapt to image, Small, Medium, or Large. |
| Show date | For each blog post, display the date that the blog post was published. |
| Show author | For each blog post, display the author of the blog post. |
| Top padding | Set the amount of space at the top of the section. |
| Bottom padding | Set the amount of space at the bottom of the section. |
As well as the Blog posts section settings, you can also view and customize some of the Theme Settings for blog cards, and you can add your own section-specific Custom CSS.
