Blog post pages
Blog post pages on your online store display the content of a blog post. By default, blog post pages contain a Blog post section in the theme editor.
The Blog post section has no customizable settings, but it contains the following default blocks:
- Featured image
- Title
- Share
- Content

Featured image block

Title block
Setting | Description |

Show date | Displays the date that the blog post was published. |

Share block
The Share block displays a clickable link that lets customers share the blog post on their social media.

Content block
The Content block displays the content of the blog post that you created in the Online Store > Blog posts section of your Shopify admin. It has no customizable settings.
Add a block to your blog post section
You can add the Featured image block, Title block, Share block, or Content block to a Blog post section in the theme editor. Learn more about how to Add a block.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.

Navigate to your blog posts template in the theme editor:
- Click the Home page drop-down menu.
- Click Blog posts.
- Click the relevant blog posts template that you want to edit.
In the Template field, hover over the Blog post section, and then click Add block.
In the dialog, click the block that you want to add.
Optional: Click the block that you added, and then make any necessary changes to the block's settings.
Click Save.
