Theme settings for Supply

You can use theme settings to customize the colors and typography on your online store. You can also set up links to your social media accounts, edit your cart settings, and add a favicon.


You can choose the colors for the different parts of your online store.

Customize your color settings

  1. Click Theme settings.
  2. Click Colors.
  3. To open the color picker, click the color swatch for the content type color you want to change. The Recently selected area shows colors that you have recently selected for your theme. The Currently used area shows colors that you are currently using in other parts of your theme.

    To set a specific hex color code, click on the text field to enter the color.

    To set the color to transparent, delete the hex code value from the text field.

  4. Click Save.


You can set the font style and size for the text on your online store. You can choose a system font or a custom font.

It's recommended that you use system fonts in your store. Using system fonts avoids downloading new fonts to your customer's computer, which can negatively impact your store load speed. The font that displays on your customer's computer depends on their operating system. Learn more about system fonts.

Customize your typography settings

  1. Click Theme settings.

  2. Click Typography.

  3. For each type of text, click Change to use the font picker.

  4. Explore fonts by using the search field, or by clicking Load more.

    To see all of the available fonts, see Shopify's font library.

  5. Click the name of the font that you want to use.

  6. To change the font to a different style, click the name of the current font style, and then select a new font style from the drop-down menu.

  7. Click Select.

  8. Click Save.


You can add a favorites icon, or a favicon, which can help to brand your online store. A favicon shows in the following places:

  • your web browser tab
  • your web browser's history
  • icons on your desktop
  • beside your online store name when it is bookmarked

Customize your favicon

  1. Click Theme settings.
  2. Click Favicon.
  3. In the Favicon image area, click Select image, and then do one of the following:
    • To select an image that you have already uploaded to your Shopify admin, click the Library tab.
    • To select an image from your local computer, click the Library tab, and then click Upload.
  4. Add alt text to your favicon image:
    1. Click Edit.
    2. In the Edit image window, enter a brief description of the image.
    3. Click Save.
  5. Click Save.


With Supply, you can customize the cart page to include order notes, and select from four cart page styles.

  1. Click Theme settings.
  2. Click Cart.

With Supply, you can provide a field on the cart page for customers to leave order notes, which can be used for gift messages, special requests, and delivery instructions.

Cart type

Supply offers three cart types:

  • Drawer - The cart slides down from the top of the page. When the cart is closed, the cart text appears to fold up.

  • Modal - The cart opens in a pop-up window that appears on top of the page content. The pop-up window can be dismissed by clicking the X or by clicking outside of the pop-up window.

  • Page - The cart is a page in your online store. Customers access the cart page by clicking the cart link in the header, or by adding an item to the cart.

Social media

You can add social sharing buttons for your products and blog posts, and links to your social media accounts.

Customize your social media settings

  1. Click Theme settings.

  2. Click Social media.

  3. To add social sharing buttons to your products and blog posts, check any or all of the following options:

    • Share on Facebook
    • Tweet on Twitter
    • Pin on Pinterest (not available for blog post sharing)
  4. To add links to your social media accounts, enter the links to your accounts in the fields provided under Accounts. Enter full links, such as, or

  5. To change the style of the sharing buttons, select Fully branded or Logo only from the Button style menu.

  6. Click Save.

Price format

With Supply, you can choose how product prices appear in your store.

Change the price format

  1. Click Theme settings.
  2. Click Price format.
  3. If you sell in a currency that uses cents, then check the Show cents as superscript to show the price in superscript.
  4. Click Save.


This section lets you customize your store's checkout. Refer to Shopify checkout for more information about your store's checkout page.

Theme style

Many themes come with more than one style. Theme styles control the default settings of the theme. When you reset your theme's style, any changes that you've made to the theme settings are lost. You won't lose content such as text and images.

  1. Click Theme settings.

  2. Click Theme style.

  3. Select the theme style that you want to apply.

  4. Click Change style.

  5. Click Save.
