Most browsers add a header and footer automatically to every page they print. You can remove these to give your documents a cleaner, more professional look. Each browser has a different way to remove these:

Steps to print directly from an order in the admin:

  1. Follow the steps to print with Order Printer from the Shopify admin.

  2. In the Print window, click on More settings.

  3. Uncheck Headers and footers.

  4. Click Save.

In general, you need to uncheck the option in the browser's print window for the headers and footers.

Save a document as a PDF file

Order Printer uses your browser's print function to print documents. You can use this function to save your documents as PDF files. Each browser and operating system handles saving to PDF differently:

Google Chrome on Mac OS X or Windows

If you're using the Google Chrome browser, then you can save to a PDF directly from the print dialog. Under Destination, select Save as PDF.

Mac OS X

Mac OS X's print dialog lets you print to PDF from any browser. In the print dialog box, click PDF on the bottom left and then select Save as PDF....

Microsoft Windows

For browsers other than Google Chrome on Windows, you can use software like CutePDF to save to PDF from any print dialog. On Windows 10, you can specify that you want to save as PDF in the Print window.
