Managing user security for your organization

If you have access to Organization settings, then you can manage the security settings for your organization in the Shopify admin. You can do the following from the Users > Security section of Organization settings:

  • Require users to log in using two-step authentication.

If your organization is on the Shopify Plus plan, then you can also do the following from the Users > Security section of Organization settings:

  • Require users to log in using two-step authentication.
  • Add or remove a verified domain.
  • Set up Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication for your users.
  • Choose the level of SAML enforcement that you want.
  • Reset two-step authentication for users.
  • Generate an API token to add or remove users through your identity provider with System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM).
