Change organization ownership
You can change the ownership of a store or an organization to another owner. The new organization owner must be a user in your organization. If you want to change the ownership of your organization to someone without a user account in your organization, then you must invite them first.

Considerations for changing organization ownership
Review the following considerations before you change organization ownership:
- Your organization can have only one organization owner at a time.
- The organization owner has complete access to every part of that organization's Shopify admin and has permissions for organization features that can't be removed.
Change organization ownership
To change organization ownership you must be the organization owner. The Change ownership button displays only on the organization owner's user details page.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Users and permissions.
Click your user name. You must be the organization owner.
In the Organization owner section, click Change ownership.
Enter the new owner's email address. The new owner must be an existing user in the Users section of your Shopify admin settings.
Click Change organization ownership.
Optional: You might need to re-authenticate depending on how recent your last login was. Follow the suggested verification method to verify your account.
