- Conduct preliminary research to gather insights and examples from similar businesses to better articulate your needs.
- Define your budget, timeline, and expected outcomes in detail to allow the Partner to provide an accurate quote.

Working with Partners
After the Partner responds to your inquiry, engage in discussions regarding collaboration methods and preferred tools. For example, the Partner might require access your store through a collaborator account to perform certain tasks.
When the work is complete, or at another time agreed to by you and the Partner, the Partner will bill you directly, and these charges don't display on your Shopify bill.
Reviewing Partners
You receive review requests if the following conditions are met:
- The partner was added as a collaborator to the store.
- Collaborator access has been active for 1 week or more.
- The partner is listed in the Partner Directory.
To submit a review, you select the relevant service, and rate the partner’s work quality and communication. You can also optionally include a note. Reviews appear on the partner’s profile in the Partner Directory within 48 hours of submission by an eligible merchant on a paid plan.
