Activating additional payment methods
To provide your customers with more payment options at checkout, you can activate additional payment methods on your Shopify store.
Activate additional payment methods
After you've activated an additional payment method, your customers will be able to use it at checkout.
Additional payment method apps
In addition to the built-in payment methods, you can also install additional payment providers as apps from the Payments section in your Shopify admin Settings. However, before you can use these apps, you need to configure and activate them.
To keep information synchronized between Shopify and some additional payment providers, activity on orders that are pending payment might be restricted.
Install an additional payment method app
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.
- In the Supported payment methods section, click Add payment methods.
- Search and select by payment methods or by provider.
- Choose a provider from the search results, and then click Activate.
