Blik payments
BLIK is a single-use payment method that requires customers to authenticate their payments. When your customers choose to pay with BLIK at checkout, their banking application provides a 6 digit number that they enter into the payment flow, and their banking app sends a push notification to their device to authorize the payment.

Payments with Blik
When a customer pays for their order using Blik, the funds are captured automatically and paid out in your next payout. It isn’t possible to manually capture funds from orders placed using Blik.
When using Blik with Shopify Payments, there are some conditions you should review before offering the payment method to your customers:
- You can issue full, or partial refunds for orders placed using Blik. These refunds are managed in the same way as Shopify Payments credit card or debit card refund. Learn more about refunds with Shopify Payments.
- Customers can place a chargeback on Blik transactions up to 13 months from the date the transaction was completed.
- Customers can’t use Blik to pay for subscription orders.
Customer experience
Only customers with a supported bank account located in Poland, in PLN currency can choose Blik as a payment method.
If a customer chooses to pay with Blik, then they retrieve a 6 digit payment code from their mobile banking app, which they enter on the Shopify checkout page. When they enter the 6 digit code, their mobile banking app sends a push notification to their mobile device so they can authorize the payment.
