Przelewy24 for Shopify Payments
Przelewy24 is a local payment method available to customers in Poland that requires authorization of their payment during checkout. When your customers choose to pay with Przelewy24 at checkout, they're redirected to their Przelewy24 account to authorize the payment.

Requirements when using Przelewy24 for Shopify Payments
If you want to offer Przlewy24 to your customers, then you must meet certain account and tax identification requirements. Review the following requirements for using Przelewy24 with Shopify Payments:
- You must set up Shopify Payments before you can activate Przelewy24, and you must provide your individual or company tax identification number during setup. If you want to add or update your tax identification number to your Shopify Payments account, then you can contact Shopify Support.
- Your Shopify Payments account must be located in Poland, Austria, or Germany.
- If you're based in Poland, then your domestic currency must be set to PLN or EUR. If your business is based in Austria or Germany, then you must have a market for Poland that accepts PLN or EUR. Learn more about selling with Markets.
- You must have an eligible business type to use Przelewy24 with Shopify Payments. Review the Shopify Payments Terms of Service to ensure your business type is eligible. In addition to the businesses prohibited from using Shopify Payments, dropshipping businesses and businesses selling online training are also prohibited from offering Przelewy24 at checkout.
If you don't meet all of the above requirements, then you can't offer Przelewy24 as a payment option at checkout. If you meet all of the requirements and Przelewy24 is not available on your checkout, then you can contact Shopify Support for assistance.
Considerations when using Przelewy24 for Shopify Payments
Before offering Przelewy24 to your customers at checkout, review the following considerations:
- You can't capture funds manually when a customer pays for their order using Przelewy24.
- You can issue full or partial refunds for orders placed using Przelewy24. These refunds are managed in the same way as Shopify Payments credit card or debit card refunds. Learn more about refunds with Shopify Payments.
- Your customers can't open disputes on orders paid for using Przelewy24.
- Your customers can't pay for subscription products using Przelewy24.
Activate Przelewy24 for Shopify Payments
You can activate Przlewy24 from the Payments section of your Shopify admin.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.
In the Shopify Payments section, click Manage.
Click Manage payment methods.
In the Local payment methods section, activate the Przelewy24 option.
Receiving payments with Przelewy24 for Shopify Payments
When a customer pays for their order using Przelewy24, the funds are captured automatically and paid out in your next payout.
Customer experience
Customers paying with Przelewy24 must select their bank from the list of supported banks in the drop-down menu. When the customer clicks Pay now, they are prompted to confirm their payment via their mobile banking account. After completing verification via their mobile banking account, the payment is immediately authorized.
If a customer cancels the payment process while on their mobile banking website, a temporary pending order is created in your Shopify admin. The payment remains pending for up to 60 minutes, until P24 confirms the order is cancelled. The customer receives an email from Przelewy24 notifying them that the payment is pending and then another email when it has been finalized as cancelled.
