Setting up Shopify Payments

You can activate Shopify Payments from the Payments page in your Shopify admin. Before you set up Shopify Payments, review your eligibility and the bank account requirements.

The information needed to complete your Shopify Payments account setup depends on the country where your store is based. Refer to the list of requirements for each supported country.

Note

Before you use Shopify Payments, review the following requirements:

• Shopify Payments is only available to stores that operate in certain countries and regions. Learn more about which countries and regions are supported.
• To use Shopify Payments, you must secure your account by setting up two-step authentication. Learn more about setting up two-step authentication and account security in general. If you decide to deactivate two-step authentication in the future, then you expose your account and financial information to potential criminal attacks.

After you set up Shopify Payments, your customers can make payments on your store using both credit and debit cards that have a CVV number.
