Collabs app for creators

You can use the Collabs app for iOS or Android to access the following Collabs features:

• Discover new collaboration opportunities
• View your payouts and performance metrics
• Manage your creator profile, settings, and notifications

Set up your creator profile

After you download the Collabs app, you're prompted to either sign up or sign in to an existing account, and then set up your creator profile.

If you've already set up your creator profile in the Shopify Collabs admin, then your information is pre-filled for you to review in the app.

Steps:

1. From the Collabs app, on the Collabs profile page, complete the Creator name, Gender, Your pitch to brands, and Location fields, and then click Save.
2. On the Contact information page, complete the Date of birth, Shipping address, and optional Phone number field, and then tap Save.
3. On the Social accounts page, connect any of the following social media accounts by tapping Connect, and then following the prompts to sign in through the app provider:
   • YouTube
   • Facebook
   • Twitch
   • Instagram
   • TikTok

Managing your Collabs settings

You can manage your contact information, profile, social account connections, payouts, notifications, and Shopify account information from the Settings section of the Collabs app.

Steps:

1. From the Collabs app, tap your profile avatar, and then tap Settings.
2. Select one of the following settings categories in the Settings section, and then follow the prompts to edit those settings:
   • To update your contact information such as date of birth, shipping address, and phone number, tap Contact information.
   • To update your name, gender identity, pitch to brands, or location, tap Collabs profile.
   • To connect, reconnect, or disconnect any of the social media accounts that you use for Collabs, tap Social accounts.
   • To manage your bank details and payout settings, tap Payouts. Learn more about managing your Collabs payments.
   • To toggle notifications on or off for Collabs activity, account, payments, partnerships, and product updates, tap Notifications.
   • To manage your Shopify account information such as your photo, name, and email, tap Manage account.

Discover new partnerships

You can explore new brand partnership opportunities on the homepage of the Collabs app.

When you view a brand or product, you can save it to the Library page in the Collabs app to save all of the brands and products you're interested in promoting in one place.

Customize your feed

To customize the types of brands and products that display in your discovery feed on the homepage, tap Curate your feed, select up to 5 categories, and then tap Done.

Find brands and products to promote

1. From the Collabs app, scroll through the discovery feed on your homepage.
2. Tap a brand or product that you want to promote, and then take any of the following actions:
   • On a brand page, review the Instant earn available, and then do any of the following:
     • To learn more about the brand, tap the online store icon or any of the brand's social media icons.
     • To save the brand to your library, tap Save.
     • Scroll to browse the brand's products.
   • On a product page, do any of the following:
     • To generate an affiliate link to share with your audience, tap Copy link, and then share the link with your followers.
     • To save a product to your library for easy access to affiliate links later, tap Save.

Viewing your Collabs commissions

On the Commissions page, you can view details about upcoming payouts, commission status, and payout history. Learn more about getting paid for commissions on Shopify Collabs.

View your payout commissions by brand

When you view a payout in the Collabs app, you can review your commissions by brand to understand your earnings from each brand that you work with in more detail.

Steps:

1. From the homepage in the Collabs app, tap Next payout.

2. On the Commissions page, tap your next payout.

3. On the Next payout page, tap the brand that you want to view your commissions earnings for.

View your payouts by status

You can view the status of pcoming Collabs commissions that are being prepared for your next payout in the Status section of the Commissions page. Your Collabs commissions can have one of the following statuses:

Collabs payout statuses

Status	Description
On hold	These commissions are being collected by Collabs from the brand that you're working with.
Billed	The brand has been billed for your commissions. After the bill is paid, the commissions are added to your next payout.
Disputed	A brand has disputed your commissions. If you have a disputed commission, then check your email to resolve this with the brand that you're working with.

Steps:

1. From the homepage in the Collabs app, tap Next payout.

2. In the Status section of the Commissions page, tap the status card that you want to view.

3. Tap a payout from an individual brand to view more details about the payout.

View your payout history

You can view past payouts in the Collabs app to learn when a payout was received or scheduled for, and review the commissions that you earned from each brand that you worked with on a payout. Payouts in this section might be in a Paid, Scheduled, Pending, or Failed state.

Steps:

1. From the homepage in the Collabs app, tap Next payout.

2. In the Payout history section of the Commissions page, tap the payout history card.

3. On the Payouts page, tap the payout that you want to view the history for.

4. Optional: To view your commissions for an individual brand, tap the brand that you want to view commissions for.

5. Optional: If there's a Failed error on a payout, then tap the payout to learn more information about the error and how you can resolve it.

Measure your Collabs performance

You can view your total sales and reporting about your top sellers and top links from the Performance page in the Collabs app.

Steps:

1. From the Collabs app, tap the Performance icon in the menu.
2. Tap the date range to filter the time period that you want to view performance metrics for.
3. Review any of the following performance metrics:
   • Total sales displays your total sales through your Collabs promotions over time.
   • Your top sellers displays the most popular products that your followers have purchased as a result of your promotions.
   • Your top links displays your top performing promotional links to help you understand which links your followers are purchasing from the most.

Delete your account

You can delete your Creator account at any time in the Collabs app or in the Shopify Collabs admin.

Steps:

1. From the Collabs app, tap the initials of your account name.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete Collabs account.
4. In the Delete Collabs account dialog, select a reason for deleting your Shopify Collabs account, and then enter your password.
5. Tap Delete.
