Collabs Community Guidelines for creators

To use Collabs as a creator, you must review and follow the Collabs Community Guidelines:

  1. You’re an authentic creator producing and posting original content to promote Collabs products.
  2. You drive traffic by engaging with the audiences you’ve developed on your chosen platforms.

These guidelines are designed to help you foster trust with the brands that you promote, leading to stronger relationships. Review this page to understand the consequences of violating the Collabs Community Guidelines.

Collabs Network consequences

If you violate the Collabs Community Guidelines, then your commission rate for Collabs Network instant offers is automatically reduced to 0%, and pending payments from brands are cancelled. This decision is final, and can't be changed.

You receive an email from Shopify if you're demoted on Collabs Network.

Partnership consequences

If you're in a partnership with a brand, then the brand can take the following actions if you violate the guidelines:

  • Pause your connection: Your affiliate links and codes are no longer valid, and you can no longer work with that brand.
  • Dispute your commission: Some of your commission payments are cancelled, depending on the result of the dispute.

You receive an email from Shopify if a merchant pauses your Collabs connection or disputes your commission.

Creators blocked from using Collabs

If you're blocked by Shopify as a result of violating the Collabs Community Guidelines, then you can no longer use Collabs, and your pending payments from brands are cancelled. This decision is final, and can't be changed.

You receive an email from Shopify if you're blocked from using Collabs.
