Uninstalling Collabs

You can uninstall the Collabs app at any time. This ends your affiliate programs and creator partnerships.

You must pay any outstanding commission that you owe to creators that you work with. Any commission payments that you had in dispute are automatically canceled.

All creator commission that's currently in the holding period is automatically added to your next Shopify bill.

Considerations for uninstalling the Collabs app

Review the following considerations before you uninstall the Collabs app:

• Creators that you're connected with are notified that your affiliate programs have ended.
• Affiliate links and creator discount codes that you created are deactivated, and creators can no longer earn commission through the links or codes.
• Your partnerships with creators are marked as inactive.
• Order tracking and attribution from creator sales is stopped.

Uninstall the Collabs app

You can uninstall the Collabs app from your Shopify admin.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
2. In the Collabs field, click ….
3. Click Uninstall.
4. In the dialog, select I understand that uninstalling ends my affiliate programs, and breaks creator connections and I'm responsible for paying all commissions in the holding period.
5. Optional: From the Reason for uninstalling drop-down menu, select any reasons that apply.
6. Click Uninstall.

Reinstalling the Collabs app

You can reinstall the Collabs app at any time from the Shopify App Store.

If you reinstall Collabs within 30 days of uninstalling the app, then your previous affiliate programs and gifts are reinstated. You need to reconnect with any creators that you want to work with again.
