Creating campaigns
You can use Campaigns to track and measure all of your marketing in one place by combining newsletters, social posts, and other promotions into a single campaign. Share your campaign using links and QR codes, track where visitors come from, and measure how well your campaign performs.
Before you create a campaign, review Understanding Campaigns to learn about the terminology, link types, and metrics associated with Campaigns.
Requirements for creating campaigns
To create campaigns, your store needs to meet the following requirements:
- Your store must be on the Basic plan or higher.
- You need to sell using an online store. Campaigns aren't supported for headless storefronts.
- You need to use a desktop device to create a campaign. You can't create a campaign on a mobile device.
- You or your staff need to have the Marketing store permission. To create a campaign activity that links to your campaign, you or your staff also need to have the Manage and install apps and channels store permission.

You can create a campaign from the Marketing section of your Shopify admin. When you create a campaign, a shareable link is created that includes a full URL with your unique tracking ID, a short link, and a QR code. Learn more about shareable links.

View a campaign report
After creating a campaign, you can monitor the campaign metrics to view insights about how your marketing efforts are performing. Learn more about the metrics available for your campaigns.
If you update a campaign, then your report refreshes to include the most recent traffic data. Your campaign report data might take some time to sync. A Data sync in progress badge displays on the report until the sync is complete. To ensure that the data is accurate as possible, wait until the data sync is complete before reviewing your campaign report.

- From your Shopify admin, go to Marketing > Campaigns.
- Click the campaign that you want to view analytics for.
