Facebook Shops

Facebook Shops is a feature for select Instagram and Facebook users. After you set up Facebook Shops, you can create a store for your Instagram business page. Facebook Shops are customized from your Facebook Commerce Manager. Learn more about Facebook Shops from Facebook.

Stores using Instagram product tagging before May 19, 2020, have access to Facebook Shops. Access to the feature is granted by Facebook over the following several weeks. If you had set up Instagram product tagging from Shopify, then your Shopify products synced to your product catalog on Facebook can be used for Facebook Shops on Instagram.

When you have access to the feature, Instagram sends an email to the address associated with your Instagram account.

Facebook Shops will be globally available for all businesses using Facebook and Instagram shopping over the next several months. You can get ready for the launch by setting up Facebook and Instagram by Meta on Shopify and syncing your products to a Facebook product catalog.
