Google Performance Max campaigns help you to promote your products and increase traffic through paid advertising.

Performance Max campaigns replace Smart Shopping campaigns. Existing Smart Shopping campaigns are automatically upgraded to Performance Max campaigns, and you can no longer create Smart Shopping campaigns.

Google Performance Max campaigns have equivalent features to Smart Shopping campaigns, with added functionality and inventory. Performance Max campaigns help you to maximize your ad performance across all Google channels, including YouTube, Google Search, Gmail, and Google Maps. You can create new Performance Max campaigns in Google Merchant Center, which can be accessed from the Google & YouTube channel in your Shopify admin. Learn more about Google & YouTube channel requirements and setup.
