Migrate to the new Google sales channel
Starting September 1, 2022, the Google sales channel will be managed by Google. This means that the Google sales channel is migrating to a new app experience. There is no action needed to complete this migration. This update is automatic, and after your channel is updated, you're notified in the Google sales channel. There will be no interruption to your access to the Google sales channel during this migration. After your Google sales channel is updated, you can contact Google for support, or Shopify for support.
Your app permissions and personal information settings are the same as the previous app experience. You can continue to choose how you want data to be collected and shared between your online store and Google.

Opt out of the Google sales channel update
If you don't want to participate in the Google sales channel update, then you need to uninstall the Google sales channel from your Shopify admin.
Steps:
From the Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
Next to Google, click Remove.
In the Remove Google window, confirm that you want to remove the channel, and then click Remove Google.
