Fraud reports

Fraud reports are compiled based on the data regarding orders that might be or are confirmed to be fraudulent. Fraud reports can't be customized.

Fraud report availability

All fraud reports are available on any Shopify subscription. However, some fraud reports will only display in the Reports list when the appropriate feature is activated.

View your fraud reports

You can filter your Reports list to display only Fraud reports.

Steps:

Desktop

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Analytics > Reports.

2. Click the Category filter.

3. Click Fraud to filter the reports to display only Fraud reports.

iPhone

1. From the Shopify app, tap the … button, and then tap Analytics.
2. Tap Reports.
3. Tap the filter icon, and then tap Category.
4. Tap Fraud to filter the reports to display only Fraud reports.
5. Tap < Filter by and then X to navigate back to the filtered Reports list.

Android

1. From the Shopify app, tap the ☰ button, and then tap Analytics.
2. Tap Reports.
3. Tap the filter icon, and then tap Category.
4. Tap Fraud to filter the reports to display only Fraud reports.
5. Tap ← and then X to navigate back to the filtered Reports list.

The data presented in each of the fraud reports is defined below:

Fraud reports can't be filtered or edited.

Report	Description
Acceptance rate	Displays the percentage of total orders that have not been flagged as high-risk.
Chargeback rate (fraud)	Displays the percentage of total payments that have received a chargeback where the reason was Fraudulent.
Chargeback amount (fraud)	Displays the value of total orders that have received chargebacks where the reason was Fraudulent.
High risk orders rate	Displays the percentage of total orders that have been flagged as high-risk.
Canceled due to fraud	Displays the value of total orders that have been canceled due to fraud.
Chargeback rate	Displays the percentage of total payments that have received a chargeback of any kind.
Orders covered by Shopify Protect	Displays the number of total orders that have been covered by Shopify Protect.
Orders protected by Shopify Protect	Displays the number of total orders that have been protected by Shopify Protect.
